In 2009, our founders — two senior physicians who had spent decades in large hospital systems — noticed a pattern: patients were getting excellent procedures but poor conversations. Rushed consultations of 5–7 minutes left people confused, anxious, and bouncing between specialists without a coherent picture of their own health.
Good Care Polyclinic was built to be different. We set a minimum consultation time of 20 minutes. We hired specialists who communicate with each other. We built our own in-house lab so patients get results the same day. And we stayed focused on one neighbourhood — Krishnarajapuram — so we could become the clinic that families return to for years.
Fifteen years later, we've served over 40,000 patients across Bengaluru. The core belief hasn't changed: good healthcare starts with actually listening.
